for a modest number of pics that appear to be under scrutiny here, surely a VISUAL examination is not really that difficult or time-consumimg. things like that are surely asking or expecting too much of a 'program' to say positively are "the same".Īs someone has said elsewhere though. even the same 'face' in different shots can have differences in the surroundings or the angle of view. the content, even if very similar overall may well have some differences because of say slight change in taking position. How does any program decide on 'differences' or 'same-ness'. so to expect ANY program to decide if any other pictures are the SAME as another.is asking a big lot. in the SAME folder there obviously cannot be two images with the same file number. Why isn't Awesome finding other images that are similar?
The "Similarity" percentages are 7%, 9% and 18% I didn't think that multiple files (with the same file-name) could exist in one folder.Īwesome is reporting: "Duplicates found: 3".
